The holding pipette is used to hold an oocyte or embryo in position during ICSI and other micro-manipulation procedures.
There are three series with six dimensions for selection. The classic series has four sizes, i.e., 15-20μm in inner diameter and 90μm, 100μm, 120μm and 130μm in outer diameter. The "S" series has a smaller inner diameter of 10-15μm; the "B" series is used for the fixation of oocytes with cumulus cells or for embryo biopsy.
The tip angle is 0°-45°, and the tip-to-elbow length is 0.65mm.
A box contains 10 aseptically packaged holding pipettes, all of which have passed the MEA.
